Peter Barber is an American bass-baritone and recent graduate of the prestigious Academy of Vocal Arts. Now, he finds himself in the Marion Roose Pullin Studio at Arizona Opera, where he is currently covering Alfonse and De Lacey in the world premiere of Frankenstein by GreggKallor. In the Spring 2024 season at Arizona Opera, Peter will be performing Basilio in The Barber of Seville, Count Capulet in Romeo and Juliette, and Masetto in Don Giovanni, while covering Leporello. Last summer, he returned to Music Academy of the West (’19) to perform Colline in La Bohème under the baton of Daniela Candillari.

Outside of the opera world, Peter has grown a substantial audience on YouTube, surpassing 115,000 subscribers via videos with in-depth musical analysis of contemporary music, musical covers, and full-length conversations with voice professionals, many of which have achieved significant acclaim in their respect fields. Some guests include; Lisette Oropesa, Janet Varney, Geoff Castellucci, Lauren Paley, and Elizabeth Zharoff. He is also one of the founding members of a musical group called The Bass Gang (Bobby Bass, Peter Barber, Tomi P, and Marwan Ayman), which was formed during the pandemic, and consists of four bass singers that collaborated virtually from all over the world until August of 2023 when they convened in Brno, Czechia to shoot professional music videos for their 3rd studio EP. ______________________

Gannon is an American Jiu Jitsu black belt from Fredericksburg, VA. In June of 2022, he was promoted to black belt under multiple time world champion Keenan Cornelius in San Diego, California. Gannon recently opened his academy in his hometown named Nexus American Jiu Jitsu, which is already considered to be the premier gym to train at in the area.

Ron Cuffee Jr is an up-and-coming actor who has made appearances in a few films and shows including Coming 2 America, WandaVision, MacGyver, and more. He has plans on moving back to Atlanta in the near future to continue on with his career.

In this episode we talk about some of the pitfalls of the industry and the trials RJ has faced so far in his journey.

His journey starts off with leaving his original love in football, and trying to figure out what his purpose would be. Once he moved back to Virginia from Texas, he soon found out through doing online skits, and a few theatrical plays that acting was something he enjoyed and wanted to pursue professionally. He believes his start was special, but isn’t settling for that, and is looking forward to greater success as he continues his career.

A cancer immunologist by training, Dr. Christopher Nirschl received his PhD from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Immunology in 2015, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in association with Harvard Medical School. He has been studying the interactions between cancer and the immune system for over a decade, and is also one of the inventors of the anti-TIGIT antibody ASP8374/PTZ-201 which is currently in clinical trials. Currently, Dr. Nirschl is an Immunologist at Werewolf Therapeutics in Massachusetts, where he lives with his wife and three children.
