Detective Cody graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2016 with a Bachelors in Sociology. Shortly after he joined a large city police department on the east coast. For the first four years he worked the streets as a patrol officer and in multiple specialized units. In 2020 he was promoted to Detective, spent two years as a homicide detective, and is currently a sexual assault detective.
Zane Burk is a real estate agent out of the Orlando area. He has amassed an Instagram following of more than 15,000 people and produces loads of content on other platforms like YouTube as well. Zane graduated from the University of Mary Washington. He loves basketball, spirituality and philosophy, and is always looking for ways to live better.
The Virtual Desk, LLC was created by Olivia, wife of a veteran, mom, and former government contractor. After observing the shifting landscape in the in-person workforce model, it became apparent that virtual support was not only needed, but necessary for businesses. The Virtual Desk fills the gap for streamlined support that businesses need to thrive in the modern-day economy.
Rebecca Robinson is a Crime Scene Specialist in DC. She has been working in DC processing crime scenes for over 7.5 years now. She graduated from Hilbert College with her Bachelors of Science Degree in Forensics which helped her land her first job that brought her to the DMV. In the last 10 years she has been able to work in a few different forensic fields and learn a lot along the way.
Daniel Geey is a Partner in the Sports Group at Sheridans. He works with a variety of clubs, players and agents helping and advising on takeovers, transfers, contract negotiations, endorsement deals, reputation management, disciplinary, broadcasting and dispute issues. He is also a Bloomsbury author having published his football industry book Done Deal and his latest career book Build the Invisible. He has spoken at global conferences and events on topics such as football broadcasting rights, player transfers, agents rules, football club finance and cost controls and multiple club ownership, and provided comment for a range of media outlets including BBC, ITV, Sky Sports, BT Sport, CNN and Bloomberg.
Daniel also hosts a podcast series called The Dan and Omar Show and has his own fashion brand called ((Thirteen.)) where I sell hoodies, caps and t-shirts to raise money for cancer research.
Giuseppe Niosi is an aspiring public servant. He ran for the at large seat in the DC City Council in 2022 and is looking to use his experience to either help another candidate’s campaign or run again himself.
As a midshipman in the US Merchant Marine Academy, he spent over two years at sea, passed all of his self-paced sea projects, and graduated in 2015 with a BS in Marine Engineering, a US Coast Guard Engineering License, and a commission as an officer in the US Navy Reserves. He participates as an active member in the Strategic Sealift Officer Force. For three more years, he gained leadership experience while sailing around the globe on the USNS Richard E. Byrd, a Military Sealift Command ship, before moving on as a project engineer contractor for NAVSEA in the LCS division. Afterward, Giuseppe moved into a managerial position that required less travel and brought him back home to the place he loves, Washington, DC. While maintaining a good work ethic, he has also completed several active-duty tours as a reserve officer, both domestic and abroad.
Karl Swanepoel is the CEO and founder of Revolancer. His entrepreneurial journey began at 13 when he started freelancing. He then discovered the challenges faced by freelancers such as competition and getting stable work. To fill this gap, at 15, he created BuySellJobs, which grew to 2,000 users and was sold before his 16th birthday. He then became the youngest brand ambassador for The Business Show, Europe’s largest business conference. In his final year of college, Karl founded Revolancer, a VC-backed startup aiming to revolutionize freelancing. After graduating, he secured pre-seed funding from venture capitals and angel investors. Now, he leads a capable team that aims to improve the future of work.
