Ron Cuffee Jr is an up-and-coming actor who has made appearances in a few films and shows including Coming 2 America, WandaVision, MacGyver, and more. He has plans on moving back to Atlanta in the near future to continue on with his career.

In this episode we talk about some of the pitfalls of the industry and the trials RJ has faced so far in his journey.

His journey starts off with leaving his original love in football, and trying to figure out what his purpose would be. Once he moved back to Virginia from Texas, he soon found out through doing online skits, and a few theatrical plays that acting was something he enjoyed and wanted to pursue professionally. He believes his start was special, but isn’t settling for that, and is looking forward to greater success as he continues his career.

Sebastian currently works as a full-time substitute teacher and Head girls soccer coach at Saint Stephens & Saint Agnes School in Alexandria, VA. Besides his work teaching and coaching, Seb has travelled the world playing both soccer and futsal, as well as starting a modeling career. Now, he has his picture up in the DC United team store, and is playing semi-professionally with Virginia Dream.

A cancer immunologist by training, Dr. Christopher Nirschl received his PhD from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Immunology in 2015, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in association with Harvard Medical School. He has been studying the interactions between cancer and the immune system for over a decade, and is also one of the inventors of the anti-TIGIT antibody ASP8374/PTZ-201 which is currently in clinical trials. Currently, Dr. Nirschl is an Immunologist at Werewolf Therapeutics in Massachusetts, where he lives with his wife and three children.

Brandon was an Army Airborne Infantryman from 2003-2012 who deployed to Afghanistan in 2004 then to Iraq in 2006 and then in 2008. Along the way he earned a couple of medals and some cool war stories. Now he’s a husband and father of four living the vet dad life.

Paul Deemer is a first call musician in Austin, Texas and plays trombone, trumpet, drums, keyboard. He has toured with The Polyphonic Spree, Calexico, Kenny Wayne shepherd, Progger (an offshoot of Snarky Puppy), Brownout, Grupo Fantasma, and Summit Recording artists, Jazzbonez.

Paul and his horn section joined Austin’s own Gary Clark Jr. at the 2019 Austin City Limits festival and at Stubb’s Amphitheater, Maggie rose, Aaron Frazer, and Jon Batiste at the 2021 Austin City Limits festival and Adrian Quesada’s Jaguar sounds at ACL 2022.

A professor, clinician, and lecturer of Jazz Trombone at The University of Texas at Austin, Paul holds a Master’s degree in Studio Music and Jazz from the Frost School of Music in Miami, Florida. Paul Deemer has toured extensively, domestically and internationally, and has recorded on numerous studio albums. He can be seen performing in the Austin area with his band Dreemr, Hard Proof Afrobeat, the Kill Tony band, the NOW jazz orchestra and the Paul Deemer Quintet.

Dr. Davis Tarkenton, PT, DPT, is a recent graduate of the University of Lynchburg for his Doctorate of Physical Therapy which he began in June of 2020. Prior to graduate school, he went to High Point University, played travel soccer, battled through numerous injuries, and will begin his very own podcast in due time. His current hobbies include nutrition, running, soccer, watching NBA, NHL and soccer. He will be completing his national boards exam for his licensure in late July.

Through portraiture and longform essays he examines how sets of people relate to each other often through the lens of sports and contemporary culture. Jared’s images intimately connect readers with subjects for clients such as adidas Originals, Adobe, Airbnb, The Atlantic, ELLE, The Fader, GQ, National Geographic, Nike, The New Yorker, The New York Times, Square, TIME, Under Armour and WIRED among others. His work has been recognized by the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize and he contributed to The Marshall Project’s 2020 investigation of K-9 units and the damage that police dogs inflict on Americans, the report earned the 2021 Pulitzer Prize, staff recognition for National Reporting.

As the creative director for Virginia Dream FC, he is responsible for helping shape the visual identity of the club.
