Gannon is an American Jiu Jitsu black belt from Fredericksburg, VA. In June of 2022, he was promoted to black belt under multiple time world champion Keenan Cornelius in San Diego, California. Gannon recently opened his academy in his hometown named Nexus American Jiu Jitsu, which is already considered to be the premier gym to train at in the area.

Ron Cuffee Jr is an up-and-coming actor who has made appearances in a few films and shows including Coming 2 America, WandaVision, MacGyver, and more. He has plans on moving back to Atlanta in the near future to continue on with his career.

In this episode we talk about some of the pitfalls of the industry and the trials RJ has faced so far in his journey.

His journey starts off with leaving his original love in football, and trying to figure out what his purpose would be. Once he moved back to Virginia from Texas, he soon found out through doing online skits, and a few theatrical plays that acting was something he enjoyed and wanted to pursue professionally. He believes his start was special, but isn’t settling for that, and is looking forward to greater success as he continues his career.

Sebastian currently works as a full-time substitute teacher and Head girls soccer coach at Saint Stephens & Saint Agnes School in Alexandria, VA. Besides his work teaching and coaching, Seb has travelled the world playing both soccer and futsal, as well as starting a modeling career. A cancer immunologist by training, Dr. Christopher Nirschl received his PhD from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Immunology in 2015, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in association with Harvard Medical School. He has been studying the interactions between cancer and the immune system for over a decade, and is also one of the inventors of the anti-TIGIT antibody ASP8374/PTZ-201 which is currently in clinical trials. Currently, Dr. Nirschl is an Immunologist at Werewolf Therapeutics in Massachusetts, where he lives with his wife and three children.

Paul Deemer is a first call musician in Austin, Texas and plays trombone, trumpet, drums, keyboard. He has toured with The Polyphonic Spree, Calexico, Kenny Wayne shepherd, Progger (an offshoot of Snarky Puppy), Brownout, Grupo Fantasma, and Summit Recording artists, Jazzbonez.

Paul and his horn section joined Austin’s own Gary Clark Jr. at the 2019 Austin City Limits festival and at Stubb’s Amphitheater, Maggie rose, Aaron Frazer, and Jon Batiste at the 2021 Austin City Limits festival and Adrian Quesada’s Jaguar sounds at ACL 2022.

A professor, clinician, and lecturer of Jazz Trombone at The University of Texas at Austin, Paul holds a Master’s degree in Studio Music and Jazz from the Frost School of Music in Miami, Florida. Paul Deemer has toured extensively, domestically and internationally, and has recorded on numerous studio albums. He can be seen performing in the Austin area with his band Dreemr, Hard Proof Afrobeat, the Kill Tony band, the NOW jazz orchestra and the Paul Deemer Quintet.
