Qais Alamdar is an accomplished OSINT researcher and analyst, human rights advocate, and multimedia specialist based in Berlin, Germany. With a strong commitment to uncovering truth and promoting accountability, he has conducted extensive investigations into disinformation, propaganda, and human rights violations, often in challenging environments. Previously worked with Afghan Witness project of the Centre for Information Resilience, now he leads Intel Focus, an initiative dedicated to raising the understanding of disinformation, OSINT, fact-checking, investigative journalism and media literacy. In April 2024, Qais embarked on a bikepacking journey from Berlin in Germany to Lisbon in Portugal pedalled over three thousand kilometres to raise awareness on the gender apartheid in Afghanistan and raise funds for women in Afghanistan.
